Today, students visited our school store to redeem points they earned over the first nine weeks. Here's a photo of Mrs. Jones's Kindergarten students with their rewards! Special thanks to Falcon-Jet for donating Halloween costumes, which added to the excitement of this incentive!

Author and Carver alumnus Wesley Peters visited our 4th and 5th graders to discuss his latest book on bullying. Students engaged in interactive activities to learn why bullying is wrong. Thanks to Ms. Morgan for organizing! All students will receive copies later this semester.

Today, our students united for "Teaming Up Against Drugs," showing their support for a drug-free lifestyle in team uniforms (see photos). Tomorrow, we continue with "Wilde About Making Wise Decisions," and students are encouraged to wear green, camo, or animal print.

We kicked off Red Ribbon Week with a "Cap on Drugs" theme, where students and staff wore their favorite hats to support a drug-free lifestyle. Tomorrow, we’ll continue the initiative by teaming up against drugs—everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite team jerseys!

Today was the first meeting of the Young Gent’s Club with Mr. Cooper! He shared great insights on what it means to be a true gentleman—focusing on leadership, respect, and making a positive impact. Looking forward to more!


Yesterday was a blast! Our third-grade students participated in a slime lab program hosted by The Museum of Discovery! A huge thank you to The Purse Museum and Mrs. Shields for sponsoring this amazing learning experience! #SlimeLab

Yesterday, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus performers visited our 5th graders at Carver! They shared their amazing circus experiences and the kids received 4 tickets for their family to enjoy a show this Saturday. Huge thanks to everyone who made this event possible!

Our 4th-grade students recently enjoyed a solo performance by a harpist from the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. They learned about the harp and experienced a range of music, including classical and contemporary pieces, showcasing the beauty of this instrument.

Recently, 25 of our 5th graders visited Little Rock Air Force Base for a week-long Starbase training. They explored STEM careers and learned about teamwork, innovation, and excellence. A huge thank you to Mrs. Green for organizing this fantastic opportunity for our students!








Last week, Isibindi students enjoyed a trip to the Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville, AR, as a reward for earning the most points during the first nine weeks. Congratulations to all for this achievement! The experience was enriching and enjoyable for everyone involved.

🎀 Give Cancer the Boot Day! 🎀 In honor of a beloved staff member at Carver STEAM Magnet Elementary School, students, staff, and friends from Dr. Marian G Lacey K-8 Academy & Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership and Language Magnet Academy wore pink to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Yesterday, Carver students and staff kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by wearing pink to raise awareness and show support for survivors and those currently battling cancer. Thanks to our colleagues at King and Lacey Academy for participating in this meaningful event!
