Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer, or Summer EBT, helps close the hunger gap when kids are on summer break and not getting nutritious school meals. Summer EBT provides grocery-buying benefits to low-income families with school-aged children. Benefits will come in the form of pre-loaded cards that families can use to purchase groceries, with a one-time benefit of $120 per eligible child.
Who will receive the Summer EBT benefits?
Families receiving SNAP or TEA benefits
Students identified as homeless, migrant, runaway, or in foster care
On income based Medicaid that code as 05 or 06
Students who are approved for Free/Reduced meals by application for the 2024/2025 school year.
For households that need to apply for one or more children:
The deadline for Summer EBT is August 25, 2025.
Summer EBT application is available online at access.arkansas.gov.
Paper applications can be downloaded at ar.gov/summerEBT; select "Important Resources" to review and print application. Email the completed application to SummerEBT@dhs.Arkansas.gov or drop it off at a local county DHS office.

What an successful and amazing Career Day at Brady Elementary! Huge thanks to everyone who came out to inspire our students with your time, energy, and stories. From the Police and Fire Department to electricians, restaurant owners, lawn care professionals, construction crews, tow truck operators, the City of Little Rock, the Army, Waste Management, and many more — you made a lasting impact. Our students loved every moment!
If your child comes home with a Health Services FERPA form, please sign and return by next Wednesday, May 14. These help our department to be able to continue to provide important screenings for our students at no cost to families.
Students come to the Health Room in need of a change of clothes for a variety of reasons including spills, rips, bathroom accidents, and illness. As we approach the end of the year and have gone through most of our clothing donations, please consider keeping a change of clothes in your child's backpack - especially with Field Day coming up!
