This message is for LRSD students or parents of students enrolled in Advanced Placement coursework. First, congratulations to you and your student for your commitment to advanced college level learning in high school. We are excited to share that despite the challenges presented by COVID-19, your student will still have the opportunity to earn college credit for his/her AP classes. The College Board has developed a new on-line testing opportunity for AP students. The exams will occur May 11-22. Late exams will occur June 1-5. AP students will receive information regarding the AP exams via the email address they supplied in their AP student accounts. It is imperative that you log on to your AP Student account and update it to your personal email to assure that you receive information needed to access exams. We encourage ALL AP students to take advantage of this first ever on-line testing opportunity with a shortened exam time. Students who have been approved for testing accommodations, will have those accommodations automatically assigned to their exams.
To find out more regarding exam details, please click here to see the FAQ on this subject (English - español) or visit the LRSD Gifted Programs web page that also contains helpful links. AP students should also continue to work with their AP teachers to prepare for exams and may contact their school’s AP Coordinator for further support.
