AETN (Arkansas PBS) will provide curriculum-based programming while schools are closed from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m

Starting tomorrow (Monday, March 30th), AETN (Arkansas PBS) will modify its regularly scheduled programming from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will provide special curriculum-based programming while schools are closed.  AETN (PBS) airs on Comcast Channel 3 and U-verse Channel 2

The schedule is:

Grades pre-K-2 - 8-9:30 a.m.

Grades 3-5 - 9:30-11 a.m.

Grades 6-8 - 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

This programming can be used in place of the Alternative Method of Instruction packets normally used during unforeseen school closures for such events as snowstorms or, like earlier this year, widespread flu.

The Arkansas Education Department will send digital packets, including Spanish language materials, to each school district.
