Coca-Cola Consolidated Launches 5 Complete Learn-To-Ride Bike Programs in Little Rock

Students, mayor, governor, superintendent, Congressman French HIll, Zac Bradely from Coca Cola and symbolic $25K check

Little Rock, AR (9/15/2021) – Coca-Cola Consolidated made a $25,000 donation to provide the complete All Kids Bike® Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Programs, including Strider Learn-To-Ride Bikes, helmets, and curriculum, to five local elementary schools. The donation provided funding for programs at Chicot Elementary, Mabelvale Elementary School, Watson Elementary School, Booker T. Washington Elementary School, and Stephens Elementary School.

Governor Asa Hutchinson joined representatives from Coca-Cola Consolidated and All Kids Bike at the bike delivery celebration at Chicot Elementary School on September 15.

Five elementary schools in the Little Rock School District received everything needed to get their students pedaling through the All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Program. The program includes a proven, integrative 8-lesson curriculum, staff training and certification, a fleet of Strider Learn-To-Ride Bikes, and helmets. The fleet of dual propulsion 14x Strider Bikes start as balance bikes and convert to pedal bikes. All Kids Bike also offers continued support for each school for five years.

This generous donation will help thousands of kindergarten students learn to ride a bike over the next five years.

“The Kindergarten PE Program is designed for children of all abilities and hopes to instill healthy habits at a young age. “One of the best ways to get kids active is to get them excited about bicycles,” says All Kids Bike Director of Development, Wayne Lilly.
