Thanks to the generosity of Presenting Sponsor Educational Benefits, Inc. and other district partners, the inaugural LRSD Employee Golf Tournament was a huge success!
Not even rain could dampen the spirit of these golf enthusiasts! Employees and sponsors teed off for 18 holes of golf at the Country Club of Arkansas in Maumelle in early October to enjoy camaraderie and to raise funds for LRSD's annual Teacher of the Year event. After expenses, the effort resulted in $3,500 being donated to the TOY fund.
Congrats to the winning teams, but at the end of the day, the LRSD Teacher of the Year honorees will be the real winners! Thanks EBi and all other sponsors! A special "shout out" also to the awesome LRSD employees who coordinated the inaugural event!
