Meet the Board: Guiding Our District Together

The Board of Directors guides the Little Rock School District by setting its vision and priorities and making decisions that support students, staff, and schools. Board members focus on the big picture - adopting policies, approving the budget, and hiring and evaluating the Superintendent - while the Superintendent and District team handle the day-to-day operations of our schools.

How the Community Can Engage

Strong schools are built through strong partnerships, and community voices matter. There are several ways residents can stay connected and engaged with the Board’s work:

SHARE FEEDBACK PUBLIC COMMENT

review meeting agenda materials

Contact board Members

participate in Committees

If stakeholders have specific questions or concerns about an individual school, they are encouraged to contact the school directly, as staff are best positioned to assist. Community members may also submit questions or feedback through Let’s Talk, the District’s online communication platform available on the District website, ensuring concerns are routed to the appropriate team for a timely response.
