Careers in Networking & Cybersecurity are expanding exponentially. Students in the Networking and Cybersecurity pathway gain knowledge and skills to enter a career in this field or continue their education and training after high school.
Students have the opportunity to earn industry and college certifications. Qualifying students* can earn seventeen (17) hours of concurrent credit through UA-PTC with the opportunity to graduate with two Certificates of Proficiency (CP): Cybersecurity, CP and Computer Information Systems, CP.
Students learn operating systems, how to maintain network hardware, cybersecurity trends, and how to mitigate system risks, vulnerabilities, and attacks. Students also gain professional skills and project-management skills as they work in teams on real client projects for local and regional businesses and organizations.
*To qualify for concurrent courses, students must have a 2.5 GPA and ACT 19 in Reading and English or Accuplacer Next Gen 253 Reading, 261 Writing.

Fall: Networking I [1.0 high school credit/4.0 college credits]
Spring: Cybersecurity I [1.0 high school credit/3.0 college credits]
Level Two:
Fall: Networking II [1.0 high school credit/3.0 college credits]

Level One:
Fall: Networking III [1.0 high school credit]
