All LRSD volunteers are major contributors as they give their time, energy, and resources so selflessly everyday. But there are times when students and schools need additional support, tangible items and supplies.
There are many Partners in Education and local community groups supporting some of the on-going needs as identified by our schools, but they need our help. If a group you are associated with HAS contributed or is INTERESTED in contributing resources to any of the projects listed below, we would love to connect you. Some of us prefer to simply make monetary donations and allow others to do the footwork for us. That's great too.
Special gifts can be made in someone's honor or memory and Volunteers in Public Schools is happy to send acknowledgement cards, on your behalf. Your tax-deductible donation will be used to support LRSD volunteer programs.

One spring volunteers stepped forward and made donations that went specifically to graduating seniors selected by their counselor based on their need and level of commitment to education. Seniors who may not have had anyone to recognize their achievement did due to caring donors. Thank you Facebook friends!!
