Uniform Policy

Watson's Student Uniform and Clothing Policy Expectations:

All students at Watson are required to wear the correct attire (uniforms) during the school hours (and afterschool tutoring as well).  Students who do not have the correct colors, clothing types, and/or are wearing inappropriate clothing will be asked to call a parent to bring them proper clothing as required by the school administration.

Students are not to wear the color RED due to safety concerns at any time.  All students should follow the student uniform policy and school expectations when they arrive (and then depart) Watson campus.  All uniform policies and other school expectations are implemented on the buses, at the bus stops, outside on the playground, and any other LRSD owned/operated property.

UNIFORM POLICY:

Boys and Girls - Uniform Top/Shirt
Watson male and female students should wear a plain (no logo, no stripes) polo-type shirt with either long sleeves or short sleeves and must be one of the following colors:  Navy Blue (not black), Baby/Light Blue, White and Light Yellow (No Gold or Dark Yellow). 

There are NO exceptions to this rule without parents meeting with counselors, principal, and other administrative staff and only according to the direction of a physician/doctor's orders in written form.

***Red and other colors besides those previously listed are NOT compliant with the school uniform policy and are subject to disciplinary actions if worn to school.

Girls - Uniform Bottom - Pants/Skirt/Jumper
Watson female students should wear plain (no logo, no stripes) slack-type pants/shorts/skirt fitted comfortably at the waist and must be at least knee length or longer when it comes to pants, shorts, skirts, and/or jumpers.  Uniform pants/skirts/shorts/jumpers must be one of the following colors:  Navy Blue (not black) or Khaki (Tan).  

Girls - Uniform Bottom - Dress
Watson female students should wear a plain (no logo, no stripes) polo-type dress that is knee length or longer.  Uniform Dress Colors may only be in Navy Blue.  Other colors are not acceptable under our school uniform policy.  

Boys - Uniform Bottom - Pants/Skirt/Jumper
Watson male students should wear plain (no logo, no stripes) slack-type pants/shorts fitted comfortably at the waist and must be at least knee length or longer when it comes to pants or shorts.  Uniform pants/shorts must be one of the following colors:  Navy Blue (not black) or Khaki (Tan).  Other colors are NOT compliant with the school uniform policy.

Other Clothing Policy Expectations and Information
Students (male and/or female) are NOT allowed to wear any cargo pants (lots of pockets), hoodies, or caps to school.  Toys and other distractive items (e.g. big key chains, Pokemon cards, large necklaces, etc.) should be left at home.  Watson staff are not responsible for missing, stolen, and/or broken personal items that violate school policy expectations.
