I serve/served as a literacy tutor, parent volunteer in classrooms/schools,(ViPs) Parent, Youth and Education organizer/advocate, Trainer for Parent Leadership courses, Arkansas Scholars Trainer, School to Prison Pipeline Coach and Facilitator around literacy/parenting. I also served on the Children Defense Fund (CDF) Summer Freedom School Board - Summer Literacy Program, PTA Boards, National PTA committees, and early childhood STEAM education board. I’ve created/co-created a parent engagement advisory board, grassroots community groups and collaborated on the Ford NGL (Next Generational Learning) Master framework for public schools.
