Autobody Collision Repair
There are forty-three areas of study in the Auto Body/Collision Repair Technology program. The volumes of information students learn during their course of study and the number of skills they master enable them the possibility to step directly into the workforce immediately after graduation.
In the Auto Body/Collision Repair Technology program, students begin by learning basic non-structural repair, panel replacement, and alignment. They continue their education with spray booth operation, including surface preparation, tinting and finish application, trim and detailing, sanding and filling, damage analysis, welding, custom painting, and custom air brush painting, and much more.
The program is certified by Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), and the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF), which allows them opportunity to obtain student certification in the program. Students are also prepared for continuing education in their studies at a college or university of their choice.
