    Who Can Attend Metro?

    Metro Career Tech is an Arkansas High School Career Center hosted by The Little Rock District. Metro Career Pathway programs are open to 10th - 12th-grade high school students who live within a 25-mile radius of the campus. This means any 10th-12th grader in Pulaski County can take advantage of the Career Pathway programs offered at Metro.  This includes students at public high schools, charter schools, and homeschool students.  

    How Much Does It Cost to Attend Metro?AR High School Career Centers

    Attending Metro is free. There are no tuition or fees for students or participating schools. As a High School Career Center, Metro is funded in part by the Arkansas Office of Skills Development.

    What About Transportation?

    Metro works with area school districts, who transport students to and from their schools.  Most schools bus students directly to and from their home school to the Metro campus. Students driving to campus must obtain a parking permit through Metro. Transportation is the sole responsibility of the school/student.

    When Do Courses Meet?

    Metro has AM and PM classes. All Metro courses follow the LRSD A/B block schedule, meeting every other day. If students wish to attend EVERY day, they can enroll in two career pathways. 

    • AM Courses:  8:30-11:30
    • PM Courses:  12:50-3:50
