  • Volunteers in Public Schools (ViPS) was founded in 1972 to provide assistance to teachers and other staff members of the Little Rock School District by promoting school volunteerism. ViPS serves as a link between the District and the community while providing patrons and citizens an opportunity to be significantly involved in the education of children.

Meet the ViPS Board of Directors

During the 2019-2020 school year, thousands of volunteers contributed a total of 969,975 hours with an estimated value over $24 million! LRSD celebrates volunteerism!  Take a look.

Would you like to join ViPS?  Register today!  We will help you to determine the volunteer opportunity that is best for you according to your skills, preferences and availability.  You may also complete a volunteer application to begin the process.

If you already volunteer, you must register with our data system in order to have access to all online services.

Reporting your service time will help you to qualify for the President's Volunteer Service Award!
