Welcome to Our Library
The Chicot Library Media Center will help students become critical thinkers and foster a love of reading and information. We will accomplish this mission by setting and achieving goals and asking thoughtful questions.
Opening and Closing
The library is open for everyone from 7:30-2:55 Monday- Friday. Except for in the case of emergencies notices will be given in advance if classes have to be canceled or if the library will be closed. Missed instructional library days will be given every effort to be rescheduled.
Students may free-flow to the library anytime between 8:00-2:00 Monday-Friday. Free-flow is for students to come to the library independently to check-out new books or take AR quizzes. This is an idependent activity, so students must be able to check-in and check-out his/her own books without assistance. Students will need to have their pass or shelf-marker and their library book in order to free-flow. Students may only free-flow for 1 book a day. Students are encouraged to visit the library no more than once a day.

All Books are due within two weeks of check out; this usually corresponds with your scheduled library time except for students who have checked out during free flow.
