Overview

  • McDermott Elementary School is located on Reservoir Road in Little Rock.  There are approximately 450 students enrolled in Prekindergarten through fifth grades.  Our atmosphere is multicultural with students coming from all over the world and speaking a variety of languages.  McDermott is a child centered educational facility which has strong, focused instructional leaders.  The climate is safe and conducive to learning.

McDermott is very much involved with the community.  Seven committed Partners in Education contribute time, money, and resources to enable the staff to provide the children with the best education possible.  These contributions vary to include providing tutoring, mentoring and after school programs to providing landscaping and printing services.  The students give back with Christmas caroling, artwork displays, and lasting friendships.

Come take a look at McDermott and hear about some of the many unique opportunities we have to offer students.
