"Be Well, Work Well"
This is the theme that Little Rock School District has chosen to show support for the mental and emotional health of our employees. It is always our goal to focus on the mental wellbeing of our students, families and staff. This year, 2022, we have chosen to focus specifically on our 3400 employees of the District, in all departments. We want to “drop the stigma” and focus on the needs of our District employees.
May is National Mental Health Awareness Month and it focuses on providing foundational knowledge about mental health & mental health conditions and information about what people can do if their mental health is a cause for concern. President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. and his administration understand concerns and overwhelming issues regarding mental health. Please see The White House Proclamation issued April 29, 2022.
