    In an effort to address the needs of today's busy parents, the Little Rock School District has upgraded to an on-line registration process. The SchoolMint portal will allow parents to register on-line. During the Open Enrollment registration period, parents will be able to apply for for magnet and specialty schools. When the online registration process has been completed, parents must submit the proper documents in order for the child's application to be submitted. Parents may either make an appointment or bring the documentation to the Student Registration Office.

    Documents needed for registration:

    • Birth Certificate
    • Social security card or the number
    • Two proofs of residence such as a signed lease agreement or utility bill (current for 30 days)
    • Immunization records

    Early Childhood is located at Geyer Springs Early Childhood Center, 5240 Mabelvale Pike in Little Rock.

    School Feeder Patterns: (Please note: Sibling preference* will only be granted to students who are currently attending the school of interest and the student (sibling) has maintained enrollment.

    *Sibling preference will not be granted during Open Enrollment periods for students who are terminating an organizational level, i.e., siblings who are at the 5th, 8th and 12th grade levels, with the exception of 5th grade students at Forest Heights STEM Academy.
