Summer with the Gryphons
Summer with the Gryphons will include programs geared towards Academic Loss of Learning and credit recovery. Scholars will be able to participate in STEAM activities which include Science Labs, Robotics, and Arts. Scholars who want to improve in reading and/or enhance math skills can participate in our Real Readers program and/or our Math Mastery Program. We also have a Freshmen Academy Camp for incoming 9th graders. Theses scholars will engage in scavenger hunts, school tours, career interest inventory, fun activities, and so much more. More fun activities include, Technology Enrichment, Work-Based Learning, and Banking Skills. If you loved our social media pages, you could join our Lights, Camera, Action Program and learn how to work AV equipment, market your products and sell them in our school store. Interested in finding out about your family history, the Family Genealogy program will allow you to do just that.
Summer with the Gryphons also includes specialized programs for ESL, AVID, AP, and Robotics students. We offer ACT Prep in the morning and afternoon. Our College Prep classes will allow our scholars to prepare for college with interest exams and more. We will offer Band and Dance Camp to help build skills missed during the school year. For those of you who are into gaming we have something for you too. Finally, we have credit recovery which allows scholars to recover credit in all core classes, PE, Health, Communications, and Career Technical classes.
Breakfast, lunch, and transportation will be provided to all participants.
