Media Center
Terry's Media Center has approximately 4,000 square feet with 11 computers for automated check-out, card catalog, Accelerated Reader testing, STAR testing and research. Teachers
Our teachers are trained in ELLA and Effective Literacy to teach reading. Seventy-five percent of the teachers are ESL endorsed or ESL trained.
Best Public School - Elementary 1997. "Arkansas Times" readers voted Terry Elementary the best elementary school in Arkansas. Terry Elementary was recently nominated for the Best Elementary School for 2010 and named as a finalist in the Best of the Best.

History: Terry Elementary was built in 1964 due to the increase in population in West Little Rock. The school was named after David D. Terry who was involved in state government and very active in community affairs.
Uniforms:
Solid color shirt with collar in navy, light blue, white, or yellow. Khaki or navy pants, shorts, skirts, jumper and skorts. Plaid jumpers, Jeans with dress code shirt allowed on Fridays.
