School has started and new students are starting to school every day. We have planned graduation for November 7, 2008 and would like to be able to present you with a diploma that night.
It can happen!!! But first you must make the first move. You must make the effort to come to the Center and begin that journey that can change the rest of your life. The classes are free and the teachers are waiting to help you. So make up your mind and beging today by calling or coming the Center.
The Adult Education Center provides instruction in Adult Basic Education (ABE), General Adult Education (GAE/GED), and English-As-A-Second Language (ESL). Adult Education helps adults to improve or enhance their reading, math and language skills, learn the English language, and prepare for the Arkansas High School (GED) Diploma for entry into post-secondary education, employment, or the armed services.
Adults must be 18 years or older to enroll at the Adult Education Center. Individuals who are 16 or 17 must obtain a waiver from the last public school he/she attended to enroll in Adult Education.
Registration: Monday and Wednesday 8:30am-5:00pm Tuesday and Thursday 8:30am-7:00pm
Class Times: Monday and Wednesday 8:30am-3:30pm Tuesday and Thursday 8:30pm-7:30pm Friday 8:30am-12:00pm
GED Testing: Tuesday and Thursday 8:00am-3:30pm Tuesday and Thursday 4:30pm-7:30pm
