ViPS was founded in 1972 to provide assistance to teachers and other staff members of the Little Rock School District by promoting school volunteerism. ViPS serves as a link between the District and the community while providing patrons and citizens an opportunity to be significantly involved in the education of children.

During the 2009-2010 school year, thousands of volunteers contributed a total of 652,604 hours with an estimated economic worth of $13,215,246.00.  To view the 2009-2010 volunteer service report click here.
