The Little Rock business community is very supportive of the Little Rock
School District and participates in a number of programs that benefit
students and teachers.

Citizens and parents in the Little Rock School District lend their support as well. In fact, volunteer time totals more than 300,000 hours annually. Voters approved a millage increase in May 2000 to fund needed facility renovations repairs and additions as well as a dedicated fund for maintenance and technology enhancements for both instruction and administration.
