Two Central High Students Named National Achievement Semifinalists

The Little Rock School District is proud to congratulate its 2013 National Achievement Semifinalists:  Tatenda M. Mukunyadzi and Alexis G. Taylor, both from Central High School.  The students were named this week among 1,600 Black American High School Seniors designated as Semifinalists in the 49th annual National Achievement Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). The scholastically talented students now have the opportunity to continue in the competition for 800 Achievement Scholarship awards worth more than $2.5 million that will be offered in the spring. We wish Tatenda and Alexis well in their pursuit of the scholarships.
