Reading Tutor Programs

Have you been thinking about serving as a tutor?

Take a minute and let Pat Riley Jr (2015) or Debby Coates (2011) inspire you.

It's easy to get started following these simple steps:

1.  Complete an application

You may request an application or click here to download and print. Please print the application and bring it with you to a training, mail or hand deliver it to the ViPS office:

616 North Harrison Street, Little Rock, AR 72205

(located upstairs in the Fair Park ECC)

2. Schedule a training.

Trainings are scheduled throughout the summer.  If you are interested in tutoring, please click here.

3.  Work with a child.

We will help you determine the best location and student availability to accommodate your weekly schedule.

Whether you are a volunteer tutoring in our schools or a family member working with your students at home, the videos provided below are great examples of how a caring adult can help a student master reading and increase comprehension.

If you have previously served as a reading tutor, THANK YOU!

Please consider serving again.
