PHMS 6th Graders Heading to History Day Nationals

On Saturday, April 18, 2015 Pulaski Heights Middle School 6th graders Ainsley Anderson, Samuel Lu, and Aaron Tran earned the honor of representing the Little Rock School District and the state of Arkansas at the National History Day competition to be held June 13-18 at the University of Maryland.   They placed second in the junior group website division at Saturday's state competition.  They worked tirelessly throughout the 1st semester with their GT Seminar teacher, Ms. Lisa Lewis, on researching their topic for the theme “Leadership and Legacy in History”. Their selected topic was “First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt: U.N. Delegate, Leader for Human Rights, and Leaving a Legacy for Future Women to Follow.” Way to go, Panthers!
