Partners in Education

ViPS facilitates the participation of volunteers, businesses, faith partners and community organizations to support our schools.  In order for the district to be successful, we need to foster additional partnerships that provide time, in-kind resources and financial contributions to enhance our students’ opportunities.

Partner with us for enhanced student achievement!

Partners support LRSD schools in a variety of ways, such as:

Tutoring and mentoring students

Serving as guest speakers

Sponsoring field trips

Reading to students

Supporting after-school programs

Donating books and classroom supplies

Providing job shadowing and internship opportunities for students

Providing incentives for students and teachers

Schools and organizations creating a partnership are required to complete an application and provide a written agenda outlining their partnership plans.  The ViPS staff is eager to help guide you through that process!  Call us today:  447-ViPS!
