SALES CALLS AND DEMONSTRATIONS

Sales representatives are not permitted to call on staff members without first getting a vendor visitation authorization from the procurement department.  Authorizations are valid for that school year only and must be renewed annually.

All educational materials must first be reviewed by the appropriate administrator in the instructional resource center (IRC).  Visits by sales representatives of educational products to members of the school staff will be scheduled at times that will not interfere with the educational program.

In the case of special visits made by sales representatives for the purpose of demonstrating equipment, procurement will be advised if the school has any interest in the equipment.
