  • Congratulations to 2017 Artistry in the Rock logo competition winner Shawn Richardson, a senior at Metropolitan Career-Tech Center and Central High School!

About the Artist - Shawn Richardson: My name is Shawn Richardson, and I am a senior at Metropolitan Career-Technical Center and Little Rock Central High School. During the creation process, I wanted to draw in the different elements of artistry and display them in an interesting way. I felt that just the instruments or symbols of each art were overused, so I challenged myself to make it 'new'.

In addition to great artwork/jewelry created, designed and donated by LRSD teachers, administrators, and students, there will be some other great items in this year's AITR silent auction.
